If we don’t have a good government then Fiji won’t have a better future.

This was the lament of 75-year-old Mosese Ritova after he cast his vote at the Nananu village Community Hall in Rakiraki yesterday.

He said it was important for people to vote.

“If we want a good leader and a good government then we have to vote,” he said. “We have to choose the people who will serve their people and who will be good leaders.

“If we don’t choose the right leaders then they will not serve us.”

He said he hoped that those who came into power after the national elections would stick to their promises.
